Alpine Culligan Water, a Culligan Franchisee, is seeking an individual with technical and possibly sales experience to provide service and repair for Culligan products in the field. Products include water softeners and water filtration systems for both homes and businesses.

The field service technician provides repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and installations for Culligan equipment and products. The technician will recommend and price additional Culligan products or services when appropriate. The technician’s goal is to provide the maximum amount of service to clients in order to exceed their expectations.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform all diagnostics and analysis to trouble-shoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Installing, upgrading, and maintaining equipment.
• Completing paperwork related to tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
• May assist other employees with delivery and installation of products/equipment.
• Provide excellent maintenance of personal or company vehicle, company tools, and company equipment.
• Communicating in a positive manner with customers and staff and maintaining positive public relations for the company.
• Contact customers to schedule appointments utilizing computer software. Maintaining customer database accurately.
• Following all rules and regulations pertaining to safety and Culligan policies.
• Willing to work weekends when needed.

Essential Job Specifications/Qualifications:
• 2 years related technical experience preferred or related technical certificate.
• Plumbing or water treatment experience preferred; technical aptitude will be considered as illustrated by previous jobs and education. Service or installation experience acceptable (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.).

Special Consideration:
• Comfortable working in an active multi-tasking environment including bending, twisting, reaching overhead, crawling, working in tight spaces, lifting and pulling.
• Must wear safety equipment as required; most tasks require some physical exertion.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. repetitively and at times over 100 lbs.

Satisfactory pre-employment testing up to and including job fit evaluation, drug/alcohol screening, background check, motor vehicle record check, and physical as applicable. Must provide satisfactory job, education, and personal references.
